We've Just Received the First Samples!
We are very pleased to announce that we've just received the first REAL samples of the Smoothie Press™! We had received samples of the silicone sleeve a while ago, and were patiently waiting for the rest of the parts. What was once an idea is now a reality. From an idea to a sketch to a 3D printer to a mold maker and finally to a manufacturer. "Very surreal" as my friend Yvonne would say. (Inventor of Dwink.) And boy is she right!
We immediately loaded up the Smoothie Press™ tumbler with ingredients and attached it to our Magic Bullet. Perfect fit! Blended up a delicious smoothie with spinach, blueberries, blackberries, almond milk and non-fat yogurt. No problem. Then put on the Smoothie Press™ lid and began straining. It was even easier than our prototype. It strained out all of the seeds and pours freely through the spout, just as if you were drinking from a glass. Awesome! We had high hopes for these samples but since this really IS our first rodeo, we had no idea how it was going to go. I'm very happy to say that they have exceeded our expectations. YEEhaw!
Here are a few pictures. You'll notice that most of the parts are clear. This is how the initial samples are done. The final version will of course be optically clear for the tumbler, and solid colors for the lid, knob, blades and mesh, just as we've shown you before.
